GlacierPoint Enterprises, a portfolio company of Mill Point Capital and parent of E&M Logistics, has partnered with Jack & Jill, a third-generation family-owned direct store delivery (DSD) distributor headquartered in Moorestown, New Jersey. The deal brings Jack & Jill into the GlacierPoint/E&M platform, expands the combined company's footprint from the New York metro into the Mid-Atlantic corridor, and strengthens relationships with key customers and suppliers.

Kinzie Capital Partners Acquires GT Golf Holdings, Inc.

Chicago-based private equity firm Kinzie Capital Partners has acquired GT Golf Holdings, Inc., a Vista, California–based distributor of consumable golf products, in partnership with the company's management team. The transaction (terms undisclosed) transfers ownership from Hadley Capital to Kinzie and positions GT Golf to expand nationally while leveraging Kinzie's technology and operational resources.

The deal adds ProActive's Oregon distribution facility as a fourth DC, broadens GT Golf's product portfolio (including Clicgear, Rovic and Tempercraft lines), and expands the combined company's national footprint and e-commerce capabilities.

Canada Cartage Acquires The GTI Group to Enter U.S. Market

Canada Cartage Corporation has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire The GTI Group, a Montreal-based logistics provider offering brokerage, freight management, forwarding, drayage, intermodal, warehousing and specialized heavy/oversize trucking. The deal expands Canada Cartage’s service capabilities and marks its first entry into the U.S. market, with GTI’s U.S. offices in Houston, Des Moines and Franklin, Tennessee; the combined company is expected to generate over C$1 billion in annual revenue.

Cookbook Specialists, a division of Independence, Iowa–headquartered Print Express, acquired Jumbo Jack's of Audubon, Iowa, with the transaction closing on April 12, 2021. Jumbo Jack's manager Jeanne Christensen (25 years' experience) will join Cookbook Specialists while production is consolidated to Print Express's Independence facility; terms were not disclosed.

Stewart's Shops Acquires Jolley Associates and S.B. Collins Businesses

Stewart's Shops Corp. has acquired the retail convenience-store operations of Jolley Associates LLC and the wholesale petroleum and residential heating oil businesses of S.B. Collins Inc., adding 45 convenience stores across Vermont, New Hampshire and New York. The deal expands Stewart's regional footprint and integrates fuel distribution and heating-oil operations previously owned by the Jolley family; Matrix Capital Markets advised the sellers.
