The JF Petroleum Group has acquired the assets of Star Construction Inc. and SCI Petroleum Inc., relocating those assets to its Charleston, South Carolina Dykstra Construction branch. The deal brings former owner Brian Starer and licensed master electrician Brett Barnes into JF's Dykstra Construction leadership team and expands JF's installation, construction, and electrical capabilities in the Southeast.

DealerShop (with Resilience Capital) Acquires Jobbers Automotive

DealerShop, Inc., together with its private equity partner Resilience Capital Partners, acquired Jobbers Automotive, a Cleveland-based full-service supplier to automotive dealerships and collision centers. The deal expands DealerShop's national footprint and product offering for franchised dealerships and independent service centers across North America; Jobbers will operate as part of the DealerShop family.

JBC Technologies Acquires HST Materials, Inc.

JBC Technologies, a River Associates-backed flexible materials converter, has acquired Elk Grove Village, Illinois-based HST Materials, Inc. as an add-on to expand JBC's geographic footprint and augment its converting and die-cutting capabilities, particularly servicing automotive and off-road transportation OEMs and tier suppliers. The deal closed March 31, 2022; terms were not disclosed and the seller was HST's former ownership (Kathy Miller and Eric).

The transactions deepen SPATCO's Midwest and Mid-Atlantic presence, add specialized electricians and environmental/compliance capabilities, and support the company's strategy of growing a full-suite fueling and EV services platform.

The acquisition (terms undisclosed) expands Colt’s Midwest footprint and adds RJ Stacey’s hot tap/line stop capabilities to Colt’s service offering; RJ Stacey founder and CEO Ryan Stacey will remain with the company.
