Inc., a family- and veteran-owned packaged-ice and dry-ice producer operating facilities in Sanford and Bangor, Maine. The acquisition expands Arctic Glacier’s production and distribution capacity across New England, strengthening its ability to serve retail and commercial customers in the region.

Reddy Ice Acquires Arctic Glacier from Carlyle

Reddy Ice, LLC (a portfolio company of SCI Capital Partners) has closed the acquisition of Arctic Glacier, LLC from The Carlyle Group. Terms were not disclosed; Reddy Ice will divest four facilities and associated customer contracts to address DOJ antitrust review as it integrates Arctic Glacier into its North American packaged-ice platform.
