Sunbelt Rentals Acquires Comrent International

Sunbelt Rentals has acquired Comrent International, a U.S.-based provider of load bank and power-testing infrastructure, from private equity firm Global Environment Fund (GEF). The deal expands Sunbelt Rentals' specialty fleet and capabilities in commissioning and load-testing solutions, strengthening its position in data center, renewable energy, and utility end markets.

Uprent has more than 100 employees and ~EUR 11 million in annual revenues; Renta said the acquisition expands its specialised pumping capability and strengthens its presence in Poland and the Baltics as part of its Northern Europe expansion strategy.
