Hg Invests in Combell Group as Waterland Exits

Hg has agreed to invest in Combell Group, the Belgian mass hosting and domain services provider, with Waterland Private Equity exiting its shareholding; terms were not disclosed and the deal is subject to regulatory approval. Hg said it will support Combell's continued organic growth and selective M&A as the company expands further across Europe.

team.blue Acquires Register Group

Adelis Equity Partners Acquires Danish IT Provider netIP A/S

Adelis Equity Partners has acquired netIP A/S, a Danish one-stop-shop IT provider focused on IT outsourcing, infrastructure, security, SharePoint and consulting. The transaction values netIP at approximately DKK 375 million; netIP has ~165 employees across seven Danish offices and the founder/major shareholder Martin Kjølhede will step down from day-to-day management to remain on the board.

Hg Acquires Majority Stake in Transporeon Group from TPG Capital

Hg has agreed to acquire a majority interest in Transporeon Group, the Ulm-headquartered cloud-based logistics platform, from existing investor TPG Capital; terms were not disclosed. Transporeon, which employs about 600 people and connects over 1,000 shippers and ~90,000 carriers via its SaaS platform, will be backed by Hg's Hg8 fund to accelerate product and geographic growth and leverage its network effects.

Sofina and CPP Investments Invest in team.blue

Belgium-based investment company Sofina has agreed to make a direct, minority growth investment in team.blue, joining CPP Investments (which recently invested) alongside existing investor Hg. The deal values team.blue at around €4.8 billion; team.blue is a leading European digital enabler serving ~3.3 million SMB customers across 22 countries with 60+ brands and more than 2,500 experts.

Palatine Invests in Bluprintx; Bluprintx Acquires ITG Commerce

Palatine's buy-out fund has invested in Liverpool-headquartered digital transformation services provider Bluprintx, backing the company's buy-and-build growth strategy. With Palatine's backing, Bluprintx has completed the acquisition of commerce specialist ITG Commerce (operations in the US and Hungary), adding commerce capabilities and taking the group to more than 140 employees globally.
