Benelux private equity firm Mentha has acquired SH Group (SHG), a Svendborg, Denmark–based developer and manufacturer of complex smart handling solutions for the maritime and defence industries. Management will remain in place and Mentha will support SHG's organic growth and expansion into the defence market following a multiyear partnership with BWB Partners.

Dutch private equity firm Mentha has acquired a majority interest in Van Vulpen, a leading Netherlands-based contractor specializing in underground infrastructure networks and horizontal directional drilling. The deal, approved by the Dutch competition authority (ACM), positions Mentha to support Van Vulpen's continued growth, innovation (including electric drilling rigs) and controlled expansion while Management (Arjan de Nijs) remains a co-shareholder and active leader.

Multitubes, a Dutch manufacturer of sustainable polyethylene tubes serving cosmetics, food, pharmaceutical and industrial customers across Europe, employs about 135 people and will partner with Mentha to scale its sustainability and product-innovation efforts.

Mentha Invests in Epplejeck to Fund European Expansion
