Johnson Controls has acquired FM:Systems, a Raleigh-based provider of cloud-based digital workplace management and IoT solutions, for a base purchase price of $455 million plus potential earnouts. The deal adds SaaS workplace management capabilities to Johnson Controls' OpenBlue portfolio, expanding its digital buildings offerings and is expected to be accretive to margins and revenue growth.

Johnson Controls Acquires Silent-Aire

Johnson Controls has agreed to acquire Silent-Aire, a global provider of hyperscale data center cooling equipment and modular data center solutions, in an all-cash transaction valued at up to $870 million (approximately $630 million upfront plus earnouts). The acquisition, expected to close subject to regulatory approvals, expands Johnson Controls' capabilities and presence in the hyperscale data center vertical and is expected to be immediately accretive to adjusted EPS in fiscal 2022.

Truelink Capital Acquires Air Distribution Technologies from Johnson Controls

The company, which includes brands such as Koch Filter, Titus, Ruskin and PennBarry and employs over 4,500 people across 25+ locations, will receive strategic and operational investment from Truelink to accelerate growth and pursue M&A initiatives.
