Sibelco, the Belgium-headquartered materials group, has signed a definitive agreement to acquire Strategic Materials, Inc. (SMI), a leading North American glass recycler with 42 plants across the United States, Canada and Mexico. The deal expands Sibelco’s circular business into North America and strengthens its footprint beyond high‑purity quartz, adding significant glass‑recycling processing capacity and product lines.

Astec Industries Acquires CON-E-CO from Oshkosh Corporation

Astec Industries (Nasdaq:ASTE) has acquired CON-E-CO, a concrete equipment manufacturer and former subsidiary of Oshkosh Corporation. CON-E-CO, headquartered in Blair, Nebraska, manufactures portable and stationary concrete batch plants, mixers and related systems; terms were not disclosed and Oshkosh was advised by Balmoral Advisors.

CEMEX USA Acquires Assets of Atlantic Minerals Limited (Newfoundland)

CEMEX USA has signed a definitive agreement to purchase the assets of Atlantic Minerals Limited in Newfoundland, including a construction and chemical-grade aggregates quarry and associated port operations. The acquisition secures a long-term aggregates reserve to support CEMEX's Florida and Eastern U.S. operations and strengthen its aggregates supply chain.

ROMCO Equipment Co. (SMT) Acquires Sierra Machinery Inc.

Bengal Machine Acquires Majority Interest in CSE Bliss Manufacturing

Bengal Machine, parent company of Schutte Hammermill and other size-reduction brands, has acquired a majority interest in CSE Bliss Manufacturing, a hammer mill manufacturer based in Ponca City, Oklahoma. The Bliss family will retain a significant ownership position and the deal is intended to combine complementary capabilities to offer fully integrated, turnkey size-reduction solutions across multiple end markets including biomass, animal feed and pet food.

COMTEC Mfg. (Continuim) Acquires Innovative Sintered Metals (ISM)
