Strategic Materials Acquires Ripple Glass

Strategic Materials, Inc. (SMI), North America’s largest glass recycler based in Houston, acquired Kansas City–based Ripple Glass. The acquisition is intended to expand SMI’s glass collection capabilities and increase glass recovery rates across North America; all Ripple Glass employees were retained.

Momentive Technologies Acquires Spherical Alumina and Silica Businesses from Sibelco (South Korea)

Momentive Technologies has completed the acquisition of Sibelco’s spherical alumina and spherical silica businesses in South Korea. The deal expands Momentive’s ceramic powder portfolio and strengthens its thermal filler capabilities for thermal interface materials used across electric vehicles, AI, renewable energy, consumer electronics and telecommunications markets.

SMC Global Acquires International Chemicals LLC

Stratasys Acquires Covestro's Additive Manufacturing Materials Business

The deal expands Stratasys' materials offering (Somos and Addigy brands) across stereolithography, DLP, and powder technologies to address new manufacturing applications and end markets such as aerospace, medical and automotive.

Heidelberg Materials Acquires The SEFA Group, Inc.

Heidelberg Materials (North America) has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire The SEFA Group, Inc., the largest recycler of harvested fly ash sold for use in concrete products in the United States. Based in Lexington, South Carolina, The SEFA Group operates 20 locations with five business units and more than 500 employees, and the acquisition strengthens Heidelberg's cementitious footprint and sustainable product offerings in the Southeastern U.S.
