Leviate Air Group Acquires Majority Interest in Chairman Aviation

Leviate Air Group has acquired a majority interest in Chairman Aviation, bringing Chairman's fleet and operations under closer management while maintaining its own air carrier certificate. The deal expands Leviate's service offerings and fleet mix (including additional Citation X, Citation X+ and Citation CJ3+ aircraft) to better serve high-net-worth and corporate clients.

Volato Acquires Gulf Coast Aviation

Volato, a private aviation operator focused on HondaJet fractional ownership and charter services, has acquired Gulf Coast Aviation (GCA), an aircraft management and charter operator based at Atlantic Aviation at William P. Hobby Airport in Houston, Texas. The founders of GCA, Steve and Debbie Holmes, are retiring and Volato will retain all GCA employees as it expands its operational footprint and charter/fractional capabilities in the Houston market; terms were not disclosed.

Versa Integrity Group Acquires Avion Solutions' Commercial UAS Operations

Versa Integrity Group, a Dorilton Capital-backed industrial inspection services platform, has acquired the commercial Unmanned Aircraft Systems operations ("Avion Commercial") of Avion Solutions. Avion Commercial — based in Huntsville, Alabama — provides drone imagery, inspection, data collection, and training services; Avion Solutions will retain its government services business. The deal expands Versa's non-destructive testing and inspection capabilities by adding unmanned aerial inspection services.

Carlyle Aviation Partners Acquires Fly Leasing Limited

An affiliate of Carlyle Aviation Partners completed the acquisition of Fly Leasing Limited for $17.05 per share, taking the company private. The transaction values Fly Leasing at approximately $520 million (with an enterprise value of roughly $2.36 billion) and adds 84 aircraft (on lease to 37 airlines) to Carlyle Aviation's managed portfolio.

VIP Aviation Holdings Acquires VIP Hospitality, LLC

VIP Aviation Holdings, led by aviation and hospitality veterans Robert Greene, Sachi Greene, and Jeff Osatinski, has acquired Seattle-based VIP Hospitality, LLC. The transaction closed on May 2, 2025; Generational Group advised VIP Hospitality on the sale. VIP Hospitality is an airport hospitality and passenger experience services provider and will be integrated under the new ownership to expand operational capabilities and service offerings.

FLEETCOR Acquires Levarti

FLEETCOR Technologies has acquired Levarti, an airline software platform provider whose MAX suite automates passenger disruption workflows including re-bookings, hotel accommodations, transfers and vouchers. FLEETCOR said the deal will complement its airline lodging business and help accelerate lodging sales to global airline clients.
