Vance Street Capital Acquires Syscom Instruments; Syscom Joins Terra Insights Platform

Vance Street Capital has completed the acquisition of Syscom Instruments, a Swiss designer and manufacturer of vibration and seismic monitoring equipment, and will fold the company into its Terra Insights geotechnical, structural and geospatial monitoring platform. Syscom — headquartered in Sainte-Croix, Switzerland — will join Terra Insights’ existing subsidiaries (RST Instruments, Measurand and 3vGeomatics) to expand the platform’s instrumentation, data monitoring and analysis capabilities; terms were not disclosed.

Nova Measurements LLC Acquires VJ Tech Limited

The deal brings VJ Tech into Nova Measurements' materials-testing platform to expand product offerings, technical capabilities and global reach alongside portfolio businesses such as Controls S.p.A., IPC Global and Wykeham Farrance.

(Measure), a provider of the Ground Control cloud-based drone operating system, in a cash-and-stock transaction valued at approximately $45 million. The acquisition adds Measure's autonomous flight, fleet-management and analytics software to AgEagle's sensor and drone platform to accelerate the company's push toward end-to-end drone solutions for agriculture, commercial and industrial customers.

A3GEO will operate as a business unit of RMA GeoScience with founder Dona Kelly leading the combined group; the deal closed May 31, 2023 and strengthens RMA's geotechnical and seismic capabilities in California and the Western United States.
