PDH Academy Acquires OphthoQuestions and SunCam

PDH Academy, a portfolio company of Eden Capital, has completed the acquisitions of OphthoQuestions and SunCam to expand its continuing-education and test-prep offerings in ophthalmology, podiatry and engineering. The deal was supported by debt financing from Tree Line Capital Partners and legal advice to Eden/PDH from Cooley LLP; the acquisitions add a large engineering course library (SunCam’s ~75 educators) and a market-leading ophthalmology question bank to the PDH platform.

Edcetera Acquires DCHours.com

Edcetera, a Waukesha-based provider of online continuing education, has acquired DCHours.com, a leading continuing education platform for Doctors of Chiropractic. The acquisition adds chiropractic-focused CE content (DCHours has served more than 40,000 chiropractors since 2008) to Edcetera's healthcare education offering; DCHours founder Dr. Guy Annunziata joins the Edcetera family.

Morgan Stanley Capital Partners Acquires Project Management Academy

Investment funds managed by Morgan Stanley Capital Partners completed an investment in Project Management Academy (also referred to as Educate 360 Holdings, LLC), with CEO Jason Cassidy and the existing management team remaining in place and retaining an equity stake. The transaction — a sale by Leeds Equity Partners — will support PMA's expansion into new markets, product portfolio growth and strategic M&A; terms were not disclosed.

Accenture Acquires Edenhouse

Accenture has acquired Edenhouse, a UK-based independent SAP partner and former ECI Partners portfolio company, adding a team of 220 SAP specialists to Accenture's UK SAP Business Group. The deal (terms undisclosed) expands Accenture's SAP cloud implementation, hosting and support capabilities to better serve mid-market and large clients in the UK.

University Headquarters Acquires Discover Early Childhood EDU

University Headquarters (UHQ), an online education and career information publisher based in Scottsdale, Arizona, has acquired the website Discover Early Childhood EDU to expand its early childhood education content. The acquisition complements UHQ's recent content purchases (including Cyber Degrees EDU) and is intended to increase exposure to prospective early childhood teachers and broaden UHQ's education portfolio.
