Patient Square Capital agreed to acquire SOC Telemed, Inc., the largest U.S. provider of acute care telemedicine, in an all-cash transaction valuing SOC Telemed at $3.00 per share. The deal takes SOC Telemed private and will provide capital and industry expertise to expand the company’s clinical capabilities, innovate its Telemed IQ platform and grow its footprint across hospitals, post-acute and value-based care organizations.

Teladoc Health Acquires InTouch Health

Teladoc Health agreed to acquire InTouch Health for $600 million ($150M cash and $450M in Teladoc common stock) to create a market leader in virtual care for hospitals and health systems. The deal expands Teladoc’s clinical capabilities and enterprise telehealth footprint—bringing InTouch’s hospital-focused platform, purpose-built devices and managed services into Teladoc’s global virtual care offering; InTouch posted ~ $80 million in 2019 revenue and the transaction was expected to close by end of Q2 2020.

HealthLynked Corp. (OTC: HLYK) acquired MedOfficeDirect, LLC, a Naples, Florida-based virtual distributor of discounted medical supplies, in a transaction valued at up to $6.0 million. Consideration included $2.7 million of HealthLynked common stock at closing, $0.7 million cash and up to $2.6 million of additional stock contingent on revenue milestones; the acquisition is expected to contribute approximately $1.5 million of revenue in year one and expand HealthLynked's offering into discounted medical supplies for its patient and provider members.
