Sun European Affiliate Acquires Adler & Allan

An affiliate of Sun European Partners has agreed to acquire Adler & Allan, a leading UK environmental risk reduction specialist, from funds managed by LDC for an undisclosed sum. The buyout gives Sun European a platform to pursue organic growth and further acquisitions in the environmental services market, leveraging Adler & Allan's national network, emergency-response contracts and 630 employees.

Goldman Sachs Alternatives Acquires Adler & Allan from Sun European/Sun Capital Affiliate

An affiliate of Sun European Partners / Sun Capital Partners has agreed to sell Adler & Allan, a leading UK environmental risk reduction specialist headquartered in Harrogate, to the private equity business at Goldman Sachs Alternatives. The sale is subject to customary anti-trust and regulatory approvals and is expected to close in the coming months; Goldman Sachs intends to accelerate growth organically and via targeted acquisitions in the UK and overseas, with a focus on sustainability, climate transition and water services.

EKF Diagnostics Acquires ADL Health (Advanced Diagnostic Laboratory LLC)

EKF Diagnostics has acquired Advanced Diagnostic Laboratory LLC (ADL Health), a Texas-based CLIA-certified molecular diagnostics laboratory focused on PCR and high-throughput COVID-19 testing. The acquisition expands EKF's diagnostics capability by adding clinical laboratory testing services and ISO 15189-accredited operations to support a broader ‘sample-to-result’ offering and anticipated investment in equipment and personnel.

Paladin EnviroTech Acquires R&L Recycling B.V.

Paladin EnviroTech, a global IT asset disposition (ITAD) and electronics recycling provider backed by SER Capital Partners, has acquired Netherlands-based R&L Recycling B.V., marking Paladin’s first European acquisition. The deal gives Paladin a 129,000 sq. ft. Helmond facility and local management to serve hyperscalers, OEMs and other European customers; financial terms were not disclosed.

Haley & Aldrich Acquires The ELM Group

The deal expands Haley & Aldrich's technical capabilities in contaminated site remediation, sediments, and natural resource management while strengthening its presence across the Mid-Atlantic region.

ADT Acquires Sunpro Solar

ADT Inc. completed its acquisition of Sunpro Solar from a group of private equity investors (led by Compass Group Equity Partners and including TGP, MGG and Millstone) for $160 million in cash plus approximately 77.8 million ADT shares ( ~ $825 million implied value). Sunpro — a rooftop solar installer with ~3,600 employees operating 56 locations in 22 states — will be rebranded as ADT Solar, with founder Marc Jones and the Sunpro management team leading the new business to expand ADT's smart-home and energy offerings.
