Goldman Sachs Alternatives Acquires Adler & Allan from Sun European/Sun Capital Affiliate

An affiliate of Sun European Partners / Sun Capital Partners has agreed to sell Adler & Allan, a leading UK environmental risk reduction specialist headquartered in Harrogate, to the private equity business at Goldman Sachs Alternatives. The sale is subject to customary anti-trust and regulatory approvals and is expected to close in the coming months; Goldman Sachs intends to accelerate growth organically and via targeted acquisitions in the UK and overseas, with a focus on sustainability, climate transition and water services.

The deal expands Adler & Allan's green-collar consulting capabilities across ecology, freshwater/marine consultancy, arboriculture and geospatial services in the UK.

Sun European Partners Affiliate Acquires Allied Glass

An affiliate of Sun European Partners, LLP has completed the acquisition of Allied Glass, a Leeds-headquartered manufacturer of premium glass packaging for the spirits and food & drinks markets. Allied operates two manufacturing facilities and a dedicated decoration centre in Yorkshire; Sun European Partners said it will work with management and invest to support the company's continued development (financial terms were not disclosed).

Sun Environmental Services Group Acquires Advanced Demolition (ADL)

Sun Environmental Services Group (trading as SunEnviro / SunSkips) has acquired Advanced Demolition (ADL), a 27-year skip hire, waste management and demolition business based in Hoddesdon, Hertfordshire. The deal expands SunEnviro’s geographic footprint into Hertfordshire and Greater London and brings demolition capabilities into the SunEnviro group; terms were not disclosed and Forward Corporate Finance advised ADL’s shareholders.
