SOCOTEC Acquires Russo Barr Associates

SOCOTEC AE Consulting, LLC (SOCOTEC USA), a leading provider of testing, inspection, certification and engineering consulting services, has acquired Russo Barr Associates, a Boston-based engineering consulting firm specializing in building envelope repair, restoration and waterproofing. The acquisition strengthens SOCOTEC's presence in New England and adds Russo Barr's building envelope and restoration capabilities to SOCOTEC's architectural and building engineering practices.

SOCOTEC Italia Acquires Tecnolab Srl

SOCOTEC Italia has acquired 100% of Tecnolab Srl, an Italian testing and geotechnical laboratory based in Ortona, to strengthen SOCOTEC's capabilities and capacity in the Italian infrastructure and construction market. Tecnolab brings an additional laboratory site, mobile laboratory capability, roughly 70 employees and ~€7.0M revenue (2020), enhancing SOCOTEC Italia's service offering for large infrastructure projects.

Alliance Technical Group acquired Chemtech Consulting Group, Inc. (Mountainside, New Jersey) and the air testing operations of Civil & Environmental Consultants, Inc. (locations in St. Louis, Charlotte and Knoxville) to expand its laboratory and air emissions testing capabilities and geographic footprint. The air testing carve‑out was a divestiture by CEC (advised by AEC Advisors); Alliance said the deals broaden its service coverage across key U.S. markets.

AAR Corp. Acquires HAECO Americas from HAECO Group

AAR Corp. has acquired HAECO Americas from HAECO Group for $78 million in cash, expanding AAR's heavy maintenance footprint with two facilities in Greensboro, North Carolina and Lake City, Florida. The deal adds roughly 1,600 employees and comes with multi-year heavy maintenance contracts worth over $850 million, which effectively sell out the acquired facilities and support AAR's Repair & Engineering growth strategy.
