AAR CORP. Acquires Aerostrat

AAR CORP. has acquired Seattle-based Aerostrat, a long-range aviation maintenance planning software provider, for $15 million plus contingent consideration of up to $5 million. The deal brings Aerostrat's Aerros product into AAR's Trax suite to expand Trax's ERP and long-range planning capabilities and continue to offer Aerros as a standalone solution to airlines, MROs, and cargo operators.

AeroVironment Acquires Arcturus UAV for $405M

(NASDAQ: AVAV) will acquire Arcturus UAV, Inc., a Petaluma, California–based developer and manufacturer of Group 2 and 3 unmanned aircraft systems, for a total purchase price of $405 million (approximately $355 million cash and $50 million in AeroVironment stock). The acquisition expands AeroVironment's product portfolio into higher-value Group 2 and 3 UAS segments, adds Arcturus’s ~270 employees and COCO services capability, and is expected to be accretive to adjusted EBITDA and GAAP EPS in fiscal 2022.
