Fortive Corporation Acquires EA Elektro-Automatik from Bregal Unternehmerkapital

Fortive Corporation has agreed to acquire EA Elektro-Automatik Holding GmbH from private equity owner Bregal Unternehmerkapital for an enterprise value of €1,585 million (reported as $1.45 billion net of tax benefits). The acquisition strengthens Fortive's Precision Technologies portfolio (complementing Tektronix) by adding high-power electronic test & measurement capabilities serving e-mobility, energy storage, renewable energy and hydrogen markets; the deal closed in early 2024 after customary approvals.
