Collagen Matrix, a Linden Capital Partners portfolio company, has acquired Polyganics B.V., a Netherlands-based developer and manufacturer of bioresorbable medical devices. The add-on acquisition expands Collagen Matrix's regenerative medicine and polymer capabilities, entering new clinical verticals such as ENT and general surgery and broadening its neurosurgery and peripheral nerve offerings.

Linden Capital Partners, a Chicago-based healthcare private equity firm, has acquired Collagen Matrix, Inc., a New Jersey-based developer and manufacturer of collagen-based medical products used in tissue and bone repair across orthopedic, sports medicine, dental, and neurosurgery markets. The transaction (financing provided by Golub Capital and Northwestern Mutual) supports Linden's focus on medical products, contract/private-label manufacturing and expansion in dental and orthopedic end markets; Metalmark Capital was the prior owner.

RTI Surgical Acquires Collagen Solutions

RTI Surgical, a Montagu-backed CDMO, has agreed to acquire Collagen Solutions, a global supplier of engineered medical-grade collagen and xenograft tissue, expanding RTI's soft-tissue biomaterials capabilities. The acquisition broadens RTI's access to high-growth therapeutic areas including cardiac, sports medicine and orthopedics, and plastic and reconstructive surgery; Collagen Solutions is headquartered in Eden Prairie, Minnesota with additional sites in the U.K. and New Zealand.

Solventum Acquires Acera Surgical

Solventum (NYSE: SOLV) has completed the acquisition of Acera Surgical, a privately held bioscience company that develops synthetic tissue matrices for regenerative wound care, for $725 million upfront plus up to $125 million in contingent payments. The deal expands Solventum's MedSurg and advanced wound care portfolio with Acera's synthetic electrospun matrix technology; Acera is expected to generate about $90 million in sales in 2025.

Solmetex, LLC Acquires Impladent Ltd.

Solmetex, LLC acquired Impladent Ltd., a provider of regenerative dental materials including bone grafts and resorbable membranes, to expand its dental product portfolio. The transaction — supported by Solmetex's existing investor Avista Capital Partners — brings nearly 40 years of Impladent expertise into the Solmetex platform; financial terms were not disclosed.
