Frontage Laboratories Inc., a global contract research organization based in Exton, Pennsylvania, acquired Concord Biosciences (formerly Ricerca Biosciences), a preclinical CRO near Cleveland, Ohio. The acquisition adds Concord’s preclinical, toxicology, bioanalytical and agrochemical testing capabilities to Frontage’s early-stage product development services, broadening its service offering across pharmaceutical, agricultural and animal health markets.

Montrose Environmental Group Acquires Frontier Analytical Laboratories

Montrose Environmental Group, Inc. (NYSE: MEG) has acquired Frontier Analytical Laboratories, an El Dorado Hills, California-based environmental laboratory specializing in high-resolution GC‑MS analysis of dioxins, furans, PCBs and other persistent organic pollutants. Frontier will be integrated into Montrose’s Measurement and Analysis segment and operate as part of Enthalpy Analytical, LLC; Frontier’s leadership team will join Montrose. Terms were not disclosed.

GroundWork Renewables Acquires CFV Solar Test Laboratory

GroundWork Renewables has acquired CFV Solar Test Laboratory to add PV module performance, reliability testing and resilience services to its utility-scale solar meteorological data offerings. The acquisition will integrate lab-based module testing with GroundWork’s MET datasets to provide owners, developers and EPCs enhanced performance modeling and risk evaluation services; terms were not disclosed.

Platte River Equity Acquires Chemtech-Ford Laboratories

Platte River said it will use Chemtech as a foundation to build a platform in environmental testing—investing in capabilities and expanding the company's footprint to serve municipal, industrial, and government clients.

Partners Group Acquires Wedgewood Pharmacy from New Harbor Capital

Partners Group, a global private markets investment manager, has acquired a majority stake in Wedgewood Pharmacy from New Harbor Capital. Wedgewood is a leading U.S. compounding pharmacy for animal health that employs over 700 people across multiple states and serves tens of thousands of veterinarians and hundreds of thousands of pet owners; the deal closed April 1, 2021.
