MFG Chemical, a Platte River Equity portfolio company, has acquired H.P. Polymers, an independent paint and coatings resin manufacturer based in Puslinch, Ontario. The deal expands MFG's product portfolio and capabilities in the paint and coatings sector, enhancing service to customers across metal, wood, marine, specialty and coil end markets.

Alliance Technical Group Acquires Four Environmental Laboratories Nationwide

Alliance Technical Group, a Morgan Stanley Capital Partners–backed environmental testing and services platform, has acquired four independent environmental laboratories — Summit Environmental Technologies (Cuyahoga Falls, OH), Fremont Analytical (Seattle, WA), Orange Coast Analytical (Los Angeles, CA / Phoenix, AZ) and CHESTER LabNet (Portland, OR) — to build a nationwide laboratory network. The add-on deals expand Alliance's capabilities beyond air testing into water, hazardous waste, soil and PFAS/XRF analyses and broaden its geographic coverage across the United States.

Platte River Equity Acquires Team UIS

Platte River Equity, a Denver-based private equity firm, has acquired Team UIS in partnership with the company's existing owners. Team UIS, founded in 1976, provides electrical testing, maintenance, SCADA and related field services to utilities, industrial, data center and infrastructure customers; Platte River said it will help scale the platform, expand capabilities and invest in training and operations.

Platte River Equity Acquires Majority Stake in Turf Care Supply

Platte River Equity has made a majority investment in Turf Care Supply, LLC, partnering with the company's management team which rolled a significant equity stake. Turf Care, headquartered in Brunswick, Ohio, is a formulator and blender of coated nitrogen and other fertilizer products (including the Allied Nutrients division) and will work with Platte River to pursue organic growth and acquisition opportunities.

AEA SBPE Acquires Chemtron RiverBend

The deal includes significant rollover by management and employees; AEA cited CRB’s differentiated position in a large, fragmented market and substantial organic and M&A growth potential as drivers for the investment.

Alliance Technical Group acquired Chemtech Consulting Group, Inc. (Mountainside, New Jersey) and the air testing operations of Civil & Environmental Consultants, Inc. (locations in St. Louis, Charlotte and Knoxville) to expand its laboratory and air emissions testing capabilities and geographic footprint. The air testing carve‑out was a divestiture by CEC (advised by AEC Advisors); Alliance said the deals broaden its service coverage across key U.S. markets.
