Sinch AB Acquires Inteliquent for U.S. Voice Leadership

Sinch AB agreed to acquire Inteliquent, the largest independent U.S. voice communications provider, for $1.14 billion in cash to broaden its CPaaS offering and establish leadership in U.S. voice. The acquisition gives Sinch Inteliquent's carrier-grade network, extensive phone-number inventory and voice APIs; closing is subject to customary regulatory approvals including CFIUS and FCC and was expected in H2 2021.

The acquisition will integrate Digisonics' reporting and clinical interpretation capabilities into Intelerad's enterprise imaging platform to eliminate silos, improve physician workflow efficiency, and strengthen Intelerad's hospital and health system offering.
