Abry Partners, a Boston-based private equity firm, will purchase majority ownership of Franklin Energy Group from Kohlberg & Company and other stockholders. Franklin Energy, headquartered in Port Washington, Wisconsin, is a vertically integrated provider of demand-side management, energy efficiency program implementation, product fulfillment and customer engagement software for utilities; Abry said it will support the company's continued growth and capability expansion.
