BlackBern Partners LLC has acquired Zentech Manufacturing, Inc. in partnership with Zentech management and incoming CEO Steve Pudles. The private equity-backed deal positions Zentech to accelerate growth as a leading electronics manufacturing services (EMS) provider serving defense, aerospace, medical and other high-reliability markets, with management staying in place and Matt Turpin remaining as an advisor and investor.

J.D. Power Acquires Trilogy Automotive

Power has acquired Trilogy Automotive, the automotive software division of Trilogy Enterprises, and will integrate Trilogy's SaaS-based lead management platform into its Autodata Solutions division to expand OEM digital dealer capabilities. Trilogy Automotive's leadership and employees will join J.D. Power to scale the combined offering for OEMs and dealers.

VirTex Enterprises (Insight Equity) Acquires Circuit Technology LLC (Cirtech)

The add-on expands VirTex's geographic reach into the northeast aerospace and defense corridor and brings flex-board production and additional high-reliability manufacturing capabilities to the VirTex platform.

TriMas Acquires Intertech Plastics

TriMas (NASDAQ: TRS) has acquired Intertech Plastics, a Denver-based custom injection molder that supplies precision plastic components for medical, consumer and industrial applications. The acquisition brings Intertech's ISO 13485-certified, Class 8 cleanroom medical manufacturing capabilities into TriMas Packaging and expands TriMas' product offerings into the life sciences/medical end market.
