GoDaddy Inc. entered into a definitive agreement to acquire Pagely, a leader in Managed WordPress hosting. GoDaddy said it will leverage Pagely’s platform and cloud expertise to build a WooCommerce-focused SaaS offering while Pagely will continue to serve enterprise, public sector and media customers; terms were not disclosed.

GoDaddy Acquires Poynt to Expand Commerce and Payments

GoDaddy Inc. agreed to acquire Poynt to integrate in-person point-of-sale, payments and commerce capabilities into its Websites + Marketing and WordPress commerce offerings. The deal pays $320 million cash at close plus up to $45 million in deferred cash and is expected to contribute more than $150 million of bookings in 2023; Poynt CEO Osama Bedier will join GoDaddy to lead a new Commerce Division.

Verndale Acquires Vaan Group

Zadeh Group Acquires Verge Network Solutions

Goldman Sachs Acquires GreenSky

The Goldman Sachs Group, Inc. completed an all-stock acquisition of GreenSky, Inc., a cloud-native fintech platform for point-of-sale home improvement lending. The deal, valued at approximately $2.24 billion, integrates GreenSky’s merchant and consumer financing capabilities into Goldman’s Marcus consumer banking platform to expand its embedded lending and payments capabilities.
