MERGE Acquires Sandbox to Create One of North America's Largest Independent Agencies

MERGE, a Keystone Capital-backed creative, marketing and technology agency, has acquired Sandbox, an independent full-service strategic and digital agency. The combined company—operating under the MERGE brand—creates one of the largest independent agencies in North America with more than 600 employees across seven locations, while leadership from both firms will remain in place; terms were not disclosed.

Valsoft Acquires Kivuto Solutions Inc.

Valsoft Corporation Inc., a Montreal-based acquirer and operator of vertical-market software businesses, has acquired Kivuto Solutions Inc., a North American provider of digital educational content distribution and software management solutions. Kivuto will join Valsoft’s education portfolio (managed by Aspire), with Valsoft citing strong customer relationships and complementary products to drive further growth; Kivuto was represented by a court-appointed receiver in the transaction.

Synoptek Acquires Juxto to Expand Real-Time Communications Capabilities

The deal (reported at about $150 million) brings Aporeto’s co-founders and microsegmentation capabilities into Palo Alto’s cloud security offerings to expand cloud-native workload protection.
