Rokt Acquires Canal to Launch Rokt Catalog

Rokt has acquired Canal, a distributed commerce infrastructure platform, and will rebrand the product as Rokt Catalog to enable merchants to embed curated third‑party product assortments into checkout without handling inventory or logistics. Canal’s co‑founders will join Rokt’s product leadership as the company integrates the platform with Rokt Brain to expand capabilities and unlock new revenue opportunities across Rokt’s ecommerce products; terms were not disclosed.

Oakley Capital Acquires AfterBuy and DreamRobot to Form ECOMMERCE ONE

Oakley Capital Origin Fund has acquired controlling stakes in German e‑commerce SaaS providers AfterBuy and DreamRobot and combined them into the newly formed ECOMMERCE ONE Group. The investment creates a platform to consolidate e‑commerce software services for small and mid‑sized online merchants across the DACH region and support growth through Oakley’s buy‑and‑build expertise.

Pantastic Acquires UpOrder and CartHook Post Purchase Offers and Raises $18M

Pantastic raised $18 million in equity and debt financing led by B Capital Group with participation from Commerce Ventures and used the proceeds to acquire two post-purchase Shopify tools: Canada-based UpOrder and CartHook Post Purchase Offers. The deals expand Pantastic’s post-purchase product suite to accelerate commercial growth and product development; Howard Morgan of B Capital Group will join Pantastic’s board.

Rokt Invests $300M in mParticle

Block, Inc. (Square) Completes Acquisition of Afterpay Limited

(formerly Square, Inc.) has completed its acquisition of Afterpay Limited via a court-approved scheme of arrangement, bringing Afterpay's buy-now-pay-later (BNPL) capabilities into Block's Square and Cash App ecosystems. Afterpay co-founders joined Block to lead merchant and consumer businesses, and Block plans to integrate Afterpay to enable BNPL at checkout, deepen Cash App functionality, and drive growth for merchants and consumers.

Lightspeed Commerce Acquires ShopKeep
