Novopor Advanced Science Private Limited, a Bain Capital portfolio company, acquired Pressure Chemical Company (PCC) from the Minafin Group to expand its specialty chemicals and materials platform. The add-on purchase strengthens Novopor’s high-pressure chemistry, polymerization and alkoxylation capabilities and expands its U.S. footprint (Pittsburgh) as part of a broader platform build; financial terms were not disclosed.

Bain Capital Private Equity Acquires Porus Labs

Novaria Group, a Fort Worth-based manufacturer of specialty hardware for the aerospace and defense industries, has acquired Advanced Coating, a Rancho Cucamonga-based provider of Parylene conformal coating and surface enhancement services. The deal brings Advanced Coating onto Novaria's platform to expand coating capabilities and support growth across military, avionics, industrial electronics and medical device markets; terms were not disclosed.

CPS Fluidics Acquires Hexano Corp

CPS Fluidics, a Wallingford, Connecticut-based contract manufacturer focused on microfluidics for the life sciences, has acquired Hexano Corp, a microfluidic cartridge manufacturer founded in 2018. The acquisition brings Hexano founder Andre Babineau into CPS Fluidics as VP of Sales and is intended to expand CPS Fluidics' manufacturing, prototyping capabilities and domestic and international market reach.

Novaria Group Acquires FMi Chemical, Inc.

Novaria Group has signed a definitive agreement to acquire FMi Chemical, Inc., a Bloomfield, Connecticut-based supplier of nonmetallic aerospace sealants, compounds and coatings. FMi will continue operating out of Bloomfield under COO Nancy Daigle, with the company being purchased from its current owner, Harry Fine; terms were not disclosed and the transaction was expected to close in May 2022.

DalFort Capital Partners (via Key Polymer) Acquires Unichem, Inc.

The acquisition is an add-on to Key Polymer intended to create operational synergies and strengthen the combined companies' position across multiple end markets including automotive, construction and consumer products.
