Novaria Group Acquires Advanced Coating

Novaria Group, a Fort Worth-based manufacturer of specialty hardware for the aerospace and defense industries, has acquired Advanced Coating, a Rancho Cucamonga-based provider of Parylene conformal coating and surface enhancement services. The deal brings Advanced Coating onto Novaria's platform to expand coating capabilities and support growth across military, avionics, industrial electronics and medical device markets; terms were not disclosed.

Novaria Group Acquires Hydro Fitting Manufacturing

Novaria Group, a Fort Worth-based manufacturer of specialty hardware for aerospace and defense, has acquired Hydro Fitting Manufacturing Corporation, a Covina, California-based maker of custom high-pressure valves, charging kits, hose assemblies and fittings. The acquisition — Novaria's sixth since April 2020 — expands Novaria's defense and fitting capabilities and complements its Acra Aerospace business; terms were not disclosed.

Novaria Group Acquires Precision Aero Corp (fusible plug business) from PPMG

Novaria Group has acquired Precision Aero Corp (PAC), the fusible plug and specialty aftermarket components business previously owned by Precision Products Machining Group (PPMG). PAC will continue to operate from its Troy, Ohio facility with existing site leadership, and the acquisition expands Novaria's portfolio of safety-critical aerospace components and material-science capabilities.

Novaria Group Acquires Hohman Plating

Novaria Group, a Fort Worth-based manufacturer of specialty hardware and coatings for the aerospace and defense market, has acquired substantially all assets of Hohman Plating, a Dayton, Ohio metal finishing and coating business. Hohman will continue operating from Dayton and owner Bill Miller will join Novaria's board; terms were not disclosed. The purchase expands Novaria's finishing and proprietary coating capabilities across aerospace, defense and other end markets.

Tex-Tech Industries Acquires Fiber Materials Inc. from Spirit AeroSystems for $165M

Spirit AeroSystems has sold its Fiber Materials Inc. (FMI) business to Tex‑Tech Industries, Inc. for $165 million in cash. FMI — a supplier of high‑temperature carbon/carbon and ceramic matrix composites with facilities in Biddeford, Maine and Woonsocket, Rhode Island and roughly 400 employees — supplies materials for defense and NASA programs; Tex‑Tech said the acquisition expands its thermally protective materials capabilities for aerospace, defense and space markets.

Novopor Advanced Science Acquires FAR Chemical from CPS Performance Materials Group

Novopor Advanced Science, a Bain Capital–backed performance chemicals and materials CDMO, has acquired FAR Chemical from CPS Performance Materials Group to expand its U.S. footprint and add capabilities in complex specialty chemistries. The deal integrates FAR Chemical's expertise in custom and hazardous specialty chemical manufacturing—serving electronics, aerospace & defense, and coatings/adhesives end markets—into the Novopor platform.
