HostPapa, a Burlington, Ontario-based web hosting and cloud services provider, agreed to acquire Deluxe Corporation's web hosting and logo design businesses. The deal, a divestiture by Deluxe to streamline its portfolio toward payments and data, will transfer the business, clients and employees to HostPapa pending customary closing conditions.

The deal expands Miss Group’s Swiss presence and customer base (Hoststar serves ~80,000 customers and ~180,000 domains), furthering the platform’s roll-up strategy in the DACH region and adding to recent Swiss acquisitions that lift combined turnover above €10 million.

Homepage Universe Acquires VPS Network Group from Cloud Equity Group

Homepage Universe Inc., a Los Angeles-based hosting operator, has acquired VPS Network Group ("VPS Net") from Cloud Equity Group in a full exit for the private equity firm. VPS Net is an international virtualization and bare-metal cloud hosting provider (including brands such as Virpus) and the deal is intended to expand Homepage Universe's virtualization capabilities across multiple technology stacks and geographies. Terms were not disclosed.
