The Carlyle Group Makes Majority Growth Investment in HireVue

The Carlyle Group has completed a majority growth investment in HireVue, the Salt Lake City–based provider of AI-driven video interviewing and talent assessment software. Existing investors including Granite Ventures, Sequoia and TCV, along with HireVue management, remain minority shareholders as Carlyle backs the company's next phase of product innovation and global expansion.

HireVue Acquires AllyO

HireVue acquired AllyO to integrate AllyO’s conversational recruiting chatbot and automated workflow software into HireVue’s video interviewing and assessment platform, aiming to accelerate high-volume hiring and improve candidate engagement. The acquisition combines AllyO’s AI-driven candidate engagement with HireVue’s assessments to serve industries with high-volume hiring needs such as hospitality, retail, restaurants and manufacturing. Terms were not disclosed.

Workday Acquires HiredScore

Workday, the Pleasanton, California-based enterprise cloud applications company, has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire HiredScore, an AI-powered talent orchestration provider headquartered in New York. The acquisition (terms undisclosed, reported to be in the hundreds of millions) will integrate HiredScore's responsible AI recruiting and internal mobility capabilities into Workday's talent management and Skills Cloud offerings to enhance recruiting, screening, and internal mobility for customers.
