ADM Acquires Flavor Infusion International (FISA)

ADM has acquired Flavor Infusion International, S.A. (FISA), a provider of flavor and specialty ingredient solutions serving customers across Latin America and the Caribbean. The bolt-on deal adds two manufacturing facilities in Panama and Colombia and a team of approximately 60 employees to ADM's Nutrition/Flavors business to expand capabilities and accelerate growth in the high-value flavors segment in the region.

Solina Acquires Zafron Foods

Solina has acquired Zafron Foods from the Kenny family, integrating the London-based sauces and condiments manufacturer into its sauce platform. The deal adds Zafron’s two UK manufacturing sites, recognized brands (Kenny's, Zafron, Kromberg), and a 65-employee operation with ~£23m in sales to Solina’s global portfolio to accelerate capability and product offering in custom sauces and liquid solutions.

NovaTaste Acquires McClancy Foods & Flavors

NovaTaste, a global taste-innovation company headquartered in Austria, has acquired McClancy Foods & Flavors from Dallas-based private equity firm CIC Partners. McClancy will continue to operate under its brand with the existing leadership team (including CEO Stephen Andresen) remaining in place and retaining significant ownership, while gaining access to NovaTaste's international innovation capabilities and distribution network.

Florida Food Products Acquires Comax Manufacturing Corp.

Florida Food Products (FFP), backed by Ardian and MidOcean Partners, has acquired Comax Manufacturing Corp., a provider of clean-label natural flavor solutions focused on beverage and nutrition markets. The Calabretta family will retain an equity stake and Comax will continue operating its Melville, NY manufacturing facility and Marlton, NJ R&D site as part of FFP's Taste Division to expand FFP's clean-label flavor capabilities.

Solina Acquires Sokol Custom Food Ingredients

Solina, a France-based global food-ingredients partner, has acquired U.S.-based Sokol Custom Food Ingredients, a Countryside, Illinois manufacturer of custom sweet and savoury sauces. The deal strengthens Solina USA's sweet-sauce capabilities, increases capacity and scale in the Midwest, and continues Solina's expansion in North America; Sokol was owned by Burlington Capital Partners prior to the sale.

Byrna Technologies Acquires Assets of Fox Labs International

Byrna Technologies (Nasdaq: BYRN) acquired substantially all assets of Fox Labs International from longtime owner and CEO Ed Ferguson for $2.17 million. The acquisition adds Fox Labs' pepper spray product line and the Sudecon neutralizing agent to Byrna's portfolio and gives Byrna a large, loyal law-enforcement customer base the company plans to leverage across its retail and distribution channels.
