The Riverside Company Acquires PFB Corporation

An affiliate of The Riverside Company completed the acquisition of PFB Corporation (TSX: PFB) by way of a court-approved plan of arrangement, with PFB shareholders receiving CAD 24.10 per common share. The transaction closes PFB’s TSX listing and positions Riverside to support PFB’s growth in Canada and the United States across its EPS insulation, structural insulated panels and engineered geotechnical product lines.

Foam Fabricators Acquires Substantially All Assets of Polyfoam Corp.

Foam Fabricators, a Compass Diversified Holdings-backed packaging platform, has acquired substantially all of the assets of Massachusetts-based Polyfoam Corp., expanding Foam Fabricators' protective and temperature-sensitive packaging capabilities and geographic footprint. The deal adds Polyfoam's cold-chain and injection-molded plastic capabilities and enables cross-selling to national customers while Foam Fabricators also announced a partnership with Rational Packaging and commercialization of a biodegradable EPS product.

Foam Holdings Acquires Fabricated Packaging Materials

Foam Holdings Inc., a portfolio company of Wynnchurch Capital, has acquired Fabricated Packaging Materials, Inc. (FPM), a Lancaster, Ohio-based manufacturer of block molded expanded polystyrene (EPS). The acquisition is an add-on to Foam Holdings' materials solutions platform intended to extend its footprint in core end-markets and enhance its EPS manufacturing and packaging capabilities.

Epsilyte Holdings Acquires StyroChem Canada Ltd. from PMC Capital Partners

Epsilyte Holdings LLC, a Balmoral Funds portfolio company, has acquired StyroChem Canada, Ltd. from PMC Capital Partners; financial terms were not disclosed. The deal creates one of North America’s largest producers of expandable polystyrene (EPS), with Epsilyte operating three production sites and more than 300 associates, and is intended to expand capacity and customer solutions across building insulation, packaging and safety markets.

Installed Building Products Acquires Carolina Precision Fibers

(IBP) has acquired Carolina Precision Fibers ACP, LLC (CPF), a manufacturer of cellulose-based insulation, hydromulch and composite fiber products based in Ronda, North Carolina. The acquisition adds over $20 million of annual revenue and expands IBP's direct access to environmentally responsible insulation materials across multiple U.S. regions.

Wynnchurch Capital Acquires Insulation Corporation of America

ICA will be combined under a single platform with Wynnchurch portfolio companies Drew Foam Companies, Inc. and Huntington Foam, LLC to expand the platform’s geographic reach and product capabilities in the Northeast U.S.
