HEICO / Mid Continent Controls Acquires Rosen Aviation

HEICO Corporation's Mid Continent Controls (MC2) subsidiary acquired all ownership interests in Eugene, Oregon-based Rosen Aviation for undisclosed cash consideration. Rosen, a designer and manufacturer of in-flight entertainment (IFE) cabin displays and control panels for the business and VVIP aviation markets, will operate as a wholly owned subsidiary of MC2 to expand MC2/HEICO's cabin electronics capabilities and deliver integrated IFE solutions to OEMs, operators and completion centers.

The Tulsa-based FAA Part 145 repair station — which employs 36 people and performs proprietary FAA-DER repairs for commercial and cargo airlines — will continue operating in its current location with founder David Campbell remaining as VP and General Manager; the Campbell family retains ownership stakes.

Accurate, founded in 1976 and employing approximately 250 people, will continue to be led by its existing management and remain largely unchanged operationally while adding capabilities to HEICO's Specialty Products Group.

The deal, backed by AE Industrial Partners, expands Yingling's MRO capacity and technical capabilities in the strategic Wichita market; financial terms were not disclosed.
