Internet Brands, a KKR-backed owner of WebMD Health Corp., has agreed to acquire PulsePoint, Inc., a programmatic healthcare marketing technology company that uses real-time data and machine learning to deliver health insights. The acquisition will expand Internet Brands' healthcare marketing technology capabilities by adding PulsePoint's programmatic exchange, data assets, and privacy-focused targeting tools; PulsePoint will continue to operate independently with teams in New York, San Francisco, and London.
