Carlyle Acquires Minority Stake in Resonetics

Funds managed by Carlyle have acquired a significant minority equity stake in Resonetics, valuing the specialized medical device contract manufacturer at approximately $2.25 billion. Carlyle will join existing investor GTCR as a meaningful shareholder while Sverica retains a minority position; the investment will support Resonetics’ continued organic growth, international expansion and add-on acquisition strategy.

Resonetics Acquires Caribou Technologies

Resonetics, a PE-backed contract manufacturer, has acquired Caribou Technologies, a Blaine, Minnesota-based supplier of centerless grinding, forming, coiling, machining and laser processing for the medical device industry. The deal expands Resonetics' manufacturing capabilities and adds capacity and expertise in neurovascular, structural heart and other interventional device markets.

Resonetics Acquires Agile MV

Resonetics Acquires Eden Holdings to Add Injection Molding and Precision Tooling

Element Materials Technology Acquires Nanosyn

Element Materials Technology acquired Nanosyn, a San Francisco Bay Area-based contract development and manufacturing organization (CDMO) focused on drug discovery and small-batch API manufacturing, to strengthen Element’s pharmaceuticals and biopharmaceutical services in North America. Nanosyn operates three Bay Area facilities and has a team of more than 75 scientists, and the deal expands Element’s end-to-end life sciences capabilities from discovery through clinical development and regulatory support.

Polymatech Electronics Acquires Nisene Technology Group Inc.

Polymatech Electronics, via its Singapore subsidiary Artificial Electronics Intelligent Materials Pte Ltd., has acquired Nisene Technology Group Inc., a 50-year-old California-based semiconductor company known for IC design and decapsulation equipment. The deal strengthens Polymatech's semiconductor capabilities by combining Nisene's silicon and silicon carbide expertise with Polymatech's sapphire-wafer technologies to develop multi-wafer semiconductor products and advanced chip fabrication/testing devices.
