GEODIS has completed the acquisition of Need It Now Delivers, a U.S.-based provider of last-mile delivery, contract logistics and distribution services, expanding GEODIS's footprint and capabilities in the United States. The deal adds over 65 locations, more than 300 distribution points and a workforce of over 2,000 to GEODIS's U.S. operations, strengthening its omnichannel, final-mile and e‑commerce logistics offerings.

Symbia Logistics Acquires Colorado Distribution Group

Radiant Logistics Acquires Select Logistics, Inc. and Select Cartage, Inc.

Radiant Logistics, a publicly traded third-party logistics provider based in Renton, Washington, has acquired Select Logistics, Inc. and Select Cartage, Inc., two Doral, Florida–based freight forwarding and cartage businesses that have operated under Radiant's Adcom Worldwide brand since 2007. The transaction includes earnout-based consideration and will see Select transition to the Radiant brand and combine with Radiant's existing South Florida operations, with Gabby Santos named General Manager and co-founder Hector Cavallo departing to pursue other interests.

Forward Air Acquires Edgmon Trucking to Expand West Coast Intermodal Drayage

Forward Air Corporation has entered into an agreement to acquire the assets of Edgmon Trucking, LLC, a Kent, Washington-based intermodal drayage provider that generates about $22 million in annual revenue and employs 21 staff (with ~70 trucks operated mainly by independent contractors). The transaction will be funded from cash on hand, is expected to close in May 2022, and provides Forward Air its first West Coast location for its intermodal business to expand drayage capabilities at the Ports of Seattle and Tacoma.

Source Logistics Acquires LaGrou Distribution Warehousing Business

Source Logistics has acquired LaGrou Distribution's warehousing business in Northeast Illinois, adding eight Chicago-area facilities and over 2 million square feet of refrigerated and frozen storage to its platform. The deal expands Source Logistics' national network into the Midwest (bringing its footprint to 23 locations and 5+ million sq ft) and introduces cold-chain capabilities to its service offering; LaGrou's non-warehousing and transportation divisions remain with prior owners.
