Hull Street Energy Acquires Foundation Solar Partners

Hull Street Energy acquired the management team and development pipeline of Foundation Solar Partners, a Washington, D.C.-based utility-scale solar developer. The deal adds Foundation's ~1 GW of sold projects in the PJM territory to Hull Street's growing portfolio of power generation and development assets, expanding the firm's renewable development capabilities in the eastern United States.

BayWa r.e. Acquires Beacon Solar (Beacon Roofing Supply Division)

BayWa r.e. has acquired Beacon Solar, the solar distribution division of Beacon Roofing Supply (Nasdaq: BECN), and will integrate it into BayWa r.e. Solar Systems LLC to expand its U.S. distribution footprint. The deal increases BayWa r.e.'s U.S. warehouse network from six to 16 locations, supporting faster deliveries and cross-selling of solar and roofing products.

RWE Clean Energy Acquires 599 MW of Solar and Storage Projects from Galehead Development

The assets — Cedar Ridge (Idaho, solar + storage), Remington (Oregon, standalone BESS) and Champlain (New York, solar) — expand RWE's footprint in the Pacific Northwest and New York and add development-stage capacity to its U.S. pipeline.

Generac Acquires PowerPlay Business from SunGrid Solutions

Swell Energy Acquires Renu Energy Solutions

Swell Energy, an energy management and virtual power plant provider, acquired Charlotte-based Renu Energy Solutions, including its maintenance subsidiary Sun Service Specialists. The deal expands Swell's foothold across the Southeast and mid-Atlantic, combining Renu's project development and in-house installation/maintenance capabilities with Swell's financing and VPP technology to accelerate deployment of residential and commercial solar plus storage.
