Intertek Group plc has acquired Professional Testing Laboratory, LLC (PTL), a Dalton, Georgia-based provider of flooring products testing services. The acquisition expands Intertek's Total Quality Assurance (TQA) capabilities and regional footprint in the Southeast United States, adding PTL's laboratory, 26 technical staff and complementary services to Intertek's North American testing platform.

Rimkus Consulting Group Acquires Metallurgical Technologies, Inc.

(Met-Tech), a Mooresville, North Carolina metallurgical analysis and testing laboratory, in a deal that closed February 14, 2020. The acquisition expands Rimkus's forensic materials engineering and laboratory testing capabilities to better serve insurance companies, law firms, corporations and government clients.

Normec Acquires Derwentside Environmental Testing Services Ltd. and Latis Scientific Ltd.

Intertek Acquires Clean Energy Associates (CEA)

The acquisition expands Intertek’s Total Quality Assurance capabilities for renewable energy, combining CEA’s PV and storage technical expertise and global footprint (notably in the US and China) with Intertek’s global testing, inspection and certification network.

Temasek Acquires Element Materials Technology from Bridgepoint
