Intertek Group plc has agreed to acquire Base Metallurgical Laboratories Ltd. and Base Met Labs US Ltd., adding metallurgical testing capabilities and laboratories in Kamloops, British Columbia and Tucson, Arizona. The deal expands Intertek Minerals' ATIC service offering and Americas footprint, enhancing capabilities in metallurgical testing for gold, copper and battery/energy metals.
