Stone Point Capital Acquires SambaSafety from ABRY Partners

Stone Point Capital acquired SambaSafety, a provider of cloud-based mobility risk management software, from ABRY Partners; the deal closed on September 1, 2021. SambaSafety, which serves employers, insurers, and background screeners with driver data and analytics and counts over 15,000 customers, will become part of Stone Point's portfolio to expand its exposure to risk, insurance, and data analytics capabilities.
