Block, Inc. (formerly Square, Inc.) has completed its acquisition of Afterpay Limited via a court-approved scheme of arrangement, bringing Afterpay's buy-now-pay-later (BNPL) capabilities into Block's Square and Cash App ecosystems. Afterpay co-founders joined Block to lead merchant and consumer businesses, and Block plans to integrate Afterpay to enable BNPL at checkout, deepen Cash App functionality, and drive growth for merchants and consumers.

Fireblocks Acquires Dynamic

Fireblocks, the enterprise digital-asset infrastructure provider, has acquired Dynamic, a developer platform that powers embedded wallets and on-chain accounts. The deal brings Dynamic's ~30-person team and consumer-facing wallet, onboarding, and developer tools into Fireblocks to create a unified custody-to-consumer stack for fintechs, enterprises, and payment platforms.

Instacart has acquired Wynshop, a Fort Lauderdale–based provider of e-commerce solutions for grocers and retailers, to deepen its enterprise technology offerings and integrate Wynshop capabilities into Instacart’s Storefront Pro and other retailer-facing products. Wynshop will operate as a wholly owned subsidiary, and Instacart plans to bring its e-commerce, advertising, fulfillment, and in‑store solutions to Wynshop partners over time.

Rokt Acquires AfterSell

Rokt has agreed to acquire AfterSell, a Shopify and Shopify Plus partner that provides cart, checkout and post-purchase upsell tools for ecommerce merchants. The acquisition will expand Rokt's SMB offering—bringing AfterSell's Canada-based team and merchant base into Rokt's Shopify product to serve more than 20,000 SMB merchants; terms were not disclosed.
