Veritas Capital Acquires DXC's U.S. State & Local Health & Human Services Business to Form Gainwell Technologies

Veritas Capital agreed to acquire DXC Technology's U.S. State & Local Health and Human Services business for $5.0 billion in cash, creating the standalone company Gainwell Technologies. The business — which serves 42 states and territories and employs over 7,500 people — will operate independently under Veritas; DXC will use the proceeds to pay down debt and strengthen its balance sheet.
