SEMIFIVE Acquires Analog Bits

SEMIFIVE, a South Korea–based SoC design platform provider, acquired Analog Bits, a Sunnyvale-based supplier of low-power mixed-signal IP, to expand its design IP capabilities and SoC platform offerings. The deal broadens SEMIFIVE's product portfolio for AI, AIoT and other SoC markets and extends its global footprint in the United States.

MaxLinear Acquires NanoSemi, Inc.

MaxLinear, Inc. (NYSE: MXL) completed the acquisition of NanoSemi, Inc., a Boston-based MIT spinout that develops patented machine-learning IP to improve signal integrity and power efficiency in SoCs, ASICs and FPGAs. The initial consideration included $10 million in cash and 804,163 shares of MaxLinear common stock, plus $35 million in deferred cash and up to $35 million in potential earnouts; the deal expands MaxLinear's capabilities for 5G and wireless system customers.

Mellanox Technologies Acquires Titan IC

Mellanox Technologies has reached a definitive agreement to acquire Titan IC, a Belfast-based developer of network intelligence and deep packet inspection acceleration technology. The deal will integrate Titan IC's RXP regular expression processor and team into Mellanox's ConnectX and BlueField SmartNIC/IPU product lines to expand network intelligence, security, and data-analytics capabilities.

Synopsys Acquires Ansys

Synopsys has acquired Ansys in a cash-and-stock transaction valued at about $35 billion, combining Synopsys' electronic design automation (EDA) and IP capabilities with Ansys' simulation and analysis portfolio to create an integrated "silicon-to-systems" engineering leader. The deal, announced January 16, 2024 and completed July 17, 2025, positions the combined company to deliver integrated multiphysics and EDA solutions across semiconductors, automotive, aerospace and other industries.

The deal combines NVIDIA's AI and compute capabilities with Mellanox's high-performance networking products to deliver end-to-end solutions for next-generation data centers and high-performance computing customers.
