Rambus Acquires AnalogX

Rambus Inc. has signed an agreement to acquire AnalogX, a provider of ultra-low power multi-standard SerDes IP, to strengthen Rambus' PCIe and multi-protocol PHY roadmap. The acquisition is intended to accelerate Rambus' development of next-generation PCIe 6.0 and CXL 3.0 solutions for data center, AI/ML and 5G markets and is expected to close in Q3 2021.
