Bridgewell Resources has sold its Building Materials West division to a newly established company formed by a consortium of the division’s key leaders, led by David Routt, Jr. (CEO) and Mark Maulding (CFO). The transaction completes the exit of Bridgewell’s building materials divisions and the new company will continue operations with a new bank facility and liquidity.

Funds managed by WestBridge invested approximately £29m for a c.75% stake; management (led by CEO Justin Moule and COO Peter Davidson) will continue to run and grow the UK-based construction software business serving over 2,700 customers.

OrePac Building Products Acquires Western Timber Products

OrePac Building Products, a family-owned wholesale supplier based in Wilsonville, Oregon, has agreed to acquire Western Timber Products, a specialty softwood lumber and custom millwork manufacturer headquartered in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho. The deal, announced Feb. 26, 2024, is expected to close around early April 2024 and will keep Western Timber's owner Dan Seid involved to assist in the transition.
