LongWater Opportunities Acquires Soho Myriad

LongWater Opportunities, a Dallas-based private equity firm, has acquired Soho Myriad, an Atlanta-based consultant, curator, and manufacturer of custom art packages, from founder Janie Stanfield. The business will be integrated with LongWater portfolio company Kalisher to create a combined hospitality-focused art services and manufacturing platform.

The acquisition will leverage Kalisher's print studio and production capabilities in North Carolina to expand its market reach and drive further growth under LongWater's operational guidance.

Halo Collective Acquires Pistil Point Grow and Distribution Assets in Portland, Oregon

Halo Collective Inc. completed the acquisition of substantial assets of three Pistil Point operating entities (Decatur One LLC, Bradford Two LLC and Bradford Three LLC) through its subsidiary ANM Inc., securing indoor and outdoor cultivation, manufacturing and distribution capabilities in Portland, Oregon. The deal was paid principally in Halo common shares (US$4.0 million consideration issued as 47,224 shares) and strengthens Halo's vertically integrated operations and distribution reach across Oregon.

LongWater Opportunities Acquires Interia Hospitality and Studio E/L

LongWater Opportunities, a Dallas- and Fargo-based private equity firm, has acquired Interia Hospitality and Studio E/L from Tara Materials, Inc., and combined them under its Art is Love Holdings platform. The deal brings two art consulting, publishing, and manufacturing businesses—serving hospitality, healthcare, senior living and corporate end markets—into LongWater's portfolio to expand service offerings and consolidate capabilities in commercial art production.

Landscape Forms Acquires Loll Designs

Landscape Forms, a Kalamazoo-based designer and manufacturer of high-design outdoor site furniture and lighting, has agreed to acquire Duluth-based Loll Designs, a designer and manufacturer of sustainable outdoor furniture made from recycled HDPE. The deal (expected to close by December 31, 2020) brings Loll’s design-forward product portfolio, direct-to-consumer ecommerce and more than eighty employees into Landscape Forms; Loll CEO Greg Benson will continue as President and Creative Director and join Landscape Forms' executive leadership team.

LongWater Forms Cypress Rail Solutions to Acquire Northern Plains Rail Services' Maintenance Assets

LongWater Opportunities partnered with industry executives Randy Meyer and Brian Trammell to form Cypress Rail Solutions, a new railcar services platform. Cypress completed its first acquisition of certain railcar maintenance assets (locations in North Dakota and Minnesota) from Northern Plains Rail Services and plans further expansion across additional geographic markets to build a significant railcar services platform.
