Sandvik Acquires Universal Field Robots

Sandvik AB has completed the acquisition of Universal Field Robots (UFR), an Australia-based provider of autonomous interoperable solutions for surface and underground mining. UFR, headquartered in Brisbane with ~40 employees and reported revenues of approximately SEK 80 million for the year ended June 2024, will be integrated into Sandvik's Digital Mining Technologies division.

Sandvik Group has acquired 100% of DSI Underground from funds advised by Triton; the sale was announced December 24, 2020 (purchase price €943 million cash and debt-free) and completed in July 2021.
