Verisurf will be reported as a separate business unit within Sandvik’s Machining and Intelligent Manufacturing business area; the company is headquartered in Anaheim, California with 44 employees and reported ~SEK 130 million (USD 12 million) revenue in 2024.

Sandvik Acquires ICAM Technologies Corporation

Sandvik AB has signed an agreement to acquire Canada-based ICAM Technologies Corporation, a provider of post-processing, machine simulation and tool-path optimization software for CNC machining. ICAM (founded in Montreal in 1971) will be reported within Sandvik Coromant; the company has about 27 employees and 2020 revenues of roughly SEK 30 million. The deal is expected to close in Q4 2021 and strengthens Sandvik's verification and optimization offering for component manufacturing.

The deals strengthen Mastercam's regional presence across the U.S. Southeast and add CIMCO's probing and post-processor technology to Mastercam's product suite to expand digital manufacturing capabilities.

Peterson Tool (73 employees; ~$9m revenue in 2021) will be reported in Sandvik's GWS Tool business unit within Sandvik Manufacturing and Machining Solutions; the transaction was expected to close in Q2–Q3 2022.
