Quanta Services Acquires Dynamic Systems (DSI)

Quanta Services completed the acquisition of Dynamic Systems (DSI), a turnkey mechanical, plumbing and process infrastructure solutions provider headquartered in Austin, Texas. The transaction, which closed July 25, 2025, expands Quanta's mechanical construction and off-site fabrication capabilities, adds a ~2,400-employee platform and diversified end-market exposure (technology/semiconductor, healthcare, industrial) and was funded with cash and Quanta stock (approximately $1.35 billion upfront plus potential earnout).

Sandvik Group Acquires DSI Underground from Triton

Sandvik Group has acquired 100% of DSI Underground from funds advised by Triton; the sale was announced December 24, 2020 (purchase price €943 million cash and debt-free) and completed in July 2021. DSI Underground is a global supplier of ground support products and systems for underground mining and tunnelling (present in ~70 countries with over 2,000 employees), and Sandvik said the acquisition is highly complementary and will expand its product, aftermarket and service capabilities.

ONDEX Automation Acquires Vision and Control Systems (VCS)

ONDEX Automation, a Shore Capital-backed factory automation platform, has acquired Vision and Control Systems (VCS), a machine vision and systems integrator with locations in Springfield, New Jersey and Greenville, South Carolina. The deal — ONDEX's fourth acquisition since April 2024 — expands ONDEX's machine vision, barcode reading, robotics, motion control, and PLC programming capabilities across medical devices, life sciences, food & beverage, logistics, and general industrial markets.

Sandvik Acquires Verisurf Software Inc.

Sandvik AB has completed the acquisition of Verisurf Software Inc., a US-based 3D metrology software solutions provider. Verisurf will be reported as a separate business unit within Sandvik’s Machining and Intelligent Manufacturing business area; the company is headquartered in Anaheim, California with 44 employees and reported ~SEK 130 million (USD 12 million) revenue in 2024.
