The transaction was signed in August 2021 and closed on January 1, 2022; HomeToGo said the acquisition will grow its Subscription & Services platform and expand its vacation rental offering in France.

Ageas Acquires esure from Bain Capital to Create Top-3 UK Personal Lines Platform

Ageas has agreed to acquire esure from Bain Capital for £1.295 billion (€1.51 billion), combining esure with Ageas UK to form one of the top three UK personal lines insurers. The deal expands Ageas's UK distribution (including strong PCW and direct channels), creates material operational synergies and is expected to close in H2 2025 subject to regulatory approvals.

Co-operators Acquires Assurances Oligny Inc.

Aviva plc Acquires Optiom O2 Holdings Inc

Cinven to Acquire Finaxy Group from Ardian

Private equity firm Cinven has entered exclusive negotiations to acquire the Finaxy group from Ardian, with Finaxy management (led by Founder & CEO Erick Berville) set to significantly reinvest alongside Cinven. Headquartered in Paris, Finaxy is a multi-specialist French insurance broker with over 330 employees and more than €700 million in premiums; Cinven will invest from its Strategic Financials Fund and aims to accelerate Finaxy's buy-and-build growth across France and internationally.
